UK online poker rooms ranked by measured popularity

Each room contributes one attributable poker-specific branded search query. Alternate spellings and aliases are used for QA only and are never added together.

Equal measured inputs remain tied. That is why 888poker, Grosvenor Poker and Paddy Power Poker share #5 rather than receiving artificial #5–#7 differences.

What does #1 mean?

PokerStars has the highest measured poker-specific branded search popularity in this UK profile. It does not automatically mean the room has the most players, the best games or the best experience for you.

How to use the ranking

Use popularity to shortlist; compare the poker product separately

GC Score can narrow the field using a comparable popularity signal. Before playing, check the actual room, game schedule, pricing and account terms that matter to you.

Cash games and tournaments

Check the formats, stakes, tournament schedules and variants you actually want to play. Product breadth does not enter GC Score.

Liquidity and timing

A popular brand search does not prove that a particular table or tournament will be busy when you play. Check current lobby activity directly.

Rake and fees

Compare rake structures, tournament fees and withdrawal terms for the games and payment methods you use.

Safer gambling tools

Use deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion tools when needed, and never treat poker as a reliable way to make money.

Methodology

One poker-specific search signal per room

Step 1 — current cohort: we use a bounded set of current UK-facing real-money peer-to-peer online poker rooms whose product availability was reconciled before measurement.

Step 2 — attributable query: each room contributes one semantically attributable poker-specific branded Google UK query. Spacing variants and aliases are diagnostics only; they are never summed and are not chosen simply because they return a larger number.

Step 3 — GC Score: the selected search values are transformed with log1p and min-max normalized across the same comparable pool to produce a 0–100 relative score.

Web traffic is excluded: canonical gambling domains often combine poker, sportsbook, casino and other products, so ordinary domain traffic is not a comparable poker-specific popularity signal for this cohort.

What it measures

Relative branded search popularity — not room quality

Ranked: 10 rooms with comparable attributable UK poker-specific branded search data.

Ties: exact equal measured inputs share the same public rank. We do not invent an ordering where the signal does not distinguish the rooms.

GC Score 0: the normalized floor in this measured pool. It does not mean zero searches, zero players or no popularity.

No separate monthly Trend is shown for this profile yet.

Transparency

Eligibility and popularity are checked separately

Current GB gambling-business status can be checked in the Gambling Commission public register. Poker-product liveness was reconciled separately from the popularity measurement.

Popularity measurement uses SearchVolume v1.6 with Google UK data collected on 15 October 2026. The public chart shows the normalized GC Score rather than publishing every raw diagnostic query value.

Frequently asked questions

About this UK online poker ranking

Which online poker room is most popular in this ranking?

PokerStars is #1 because it has the highest measured poker-specific branded search popularity in this profile. That is not a claim that it is the best room for every player.

Why does this ranking not use website traffic?

Many gambling domains combine poker with sportsbook, casino and other products. Total domain traffic would therefore measure different product mixes across brands rather than poker popularity on a comparable basis.

Why do three rooms share #5?

Their selected comparable search inputs are exactly equal. Giving them different ordinal positions would imply a distinction the underlying signal does not support.

Does a GC Score of 0 mean nobody searches for that room?

No. GC Score is normalized within this ranking. A score of 0 marks the lowest measured value in the current comparison pool, not zero search demand or zero players.

Why not call these the “best poker sites”?

Because this chart measures popularity. It does not comprehensively score liquidity, rake, software, tournament schedules, support, promotions or overall user experience.

18+ · Gambling involves risk and can cause harm

Poker involves both skill and chance, but real-money play can still cause financial harm. Set limits, stop when gambling is no longer affordable or enjoyable, and use self-exclusion or professional support when needed.
